Found Poetry

Found Flowers

I'm in process of deadheading
my garden & have harvested seeds
to share with fellow gardeners
or novice beginners

blue asters
white daisies
black eyed susans
purple coneflower
white coneflower
yarrow

also have some roots to dig for division

spearmint
coral bells
autumn red sedum
mums . . . several colors

I have siberian and bearded iris
and hostas that need a new home,
I have limited space and
my garden is out growing!

I have house plants, too
I’m not sure what they are,
green and leafy, in terra cotta pots,
healthy but small,
probably could use some repotting.

NOTE: found poetry , as Wikipedia explains, is a rearrangement of words previously written by someone else. The original words were in an Internet posting I found. I was immediately struck with how poetic the message was.
The flowers are from my pots this summer, and are not, of course, the ones mentioned in the poem.

I love it!! .... found poetry? Does this mean that we are all poets - I think we are all born as artists and poets and slowly the world drains it out of us. Hey, I love this little post Donna and the pictures are perfect. It makes me think of the poems I love also.

How clever and educational! Sounds like you have a green thumb. I like the simplicity of this post with the photos of your flowers.

If I were your neighbor I'd help you out.

Nice post about Donna's flowers and I do remember how hard you worked. They are beautiful. Great poem, of course!
