I did enjoy your posts about the films up for Oscars. On my way from Charlotte to Charlottesville I sat by a lady in the plane who could hardly wait for the Oscars. She was coming to visit her daughter, and she was going to spend most of her time watching the movies up for awards that she hadn't seen yet. Her favorite for best movie was "Avatar."

I watched some of the show, but I found it quite boring. I thought there would be more of Steve and Alec.

We watched it all and I must say that I like it better without the extravagant song and dance numbers. I thought Martin and Baldwin were quite clever, but my favorite moment in the entire show was the scene of them in their Snugglies, watching the show.

I loved the genuine exuberance of The Hurt Locker cast. I will definitely find a theatre that's still showing that one. Must see the Sandra Bullock one, too. (sigh)

Obviously, my swearing off movies after the reports of movie popcorn being so bad for us was a mistake. I need to work on my willpower.

I see you got only about 50% of what you wanted as winners. I must admit I was not as attentive of the show as I should have been.

I always enjoy Sandra Bullock in the movies so I will make an effort to see hers.

It sees besides you and I people are getting older looking. I was disappointed at how some actresses are looking older. I guess they cannot be 25 for ever. I guess they will be scrambling for the few roles for "mature" women soon.

I'm glad that Kathryn Bigelow won but don't know if I'm up to seeing the movie.
